THE SUNRISE OVER AYODHYA(NATION HOOD IN OUR TIMES). The book written by former Union minister & and congress leader Salman Khurshid was launched on 25th oct with sparking an controversy in the country. the book defines the nationhood at this time. the controversy sparked by the words written in the chapter `SAFFRON SKY`. 

"Sanatan Dharma and classical Hinduism known to sages and saints were being pushed aside by a robust version of Hindutva, by all standards a political version similar to the jihadist Islam of groups like ISIS and Boko Haram of recent years," a chapter of the book titled 'The Saffron Sky' reads.Reacting to the controversy that his statement on Hindutva has kicked up, Khurshid said he praised Hinduism and Sanatan Dharma in his book. Hindutva is different from Hinduism, the writer has said,

On 9 November 2019, the Supreme Court, in a unanimous verdict, cleared the way for the construction of a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya.

As we look back, we will be able to see how much we have lost over Ayodhya through the years of conflict. If the loss of a mosque is preservation of faith, if the establishment of a temple is emancipation of faith, we can all join together in celebrating faith in the Constitution. Sometimes, a step back to accommodate is several steps forward towards our common destiny.

Through this book, Salman Khurshid explores how the greatest opportunity that the judgment offers is a reaffirmation of India as a secular society.

After the launch of this book the ruling BJP and allies started protest against this book. they alleged that the hindu community is targeted in this book. the sentiments of the hindu`s where compromised. the linking of the ISIS & BOKO HARAM with the hindutva ideology is not right. 

Later after the controversy started the salman khurshid came out and said that HINDU & HINDUTVA are not same. the hindu`ism doesn`t means radicalization. hinduism doesnt means minority appusement. the BJP is trying make hinduism like HINDUTVA FORCE` which is not going to be happen in this country.

Bjp, RSS,VHP Workers vandalised the Salman Khurshid house in Nainital. Former union minister posted the photos and videos of his house being vandalised and said still `AM I STILL WRONG TO SAY THIS IS NOT HINDU`ISM?.he asked.

Shiv Sena leader and former Congress person Priyanka Chaturvedi slammed the book and said comparing Hindutva to terror outfits ISIS  and Boko Haram is an attempt to demonise Hindu religion that has only spoken of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. “Half-baked information can get you book publicity,” Priyanka Chaturvedi wrote.

The words wriiten in the book stands right, vandalizing is not hindusim, radicalization is not hinduism, killing people is not hinduism, minority appusement is not hinduism, cutting of beared of minority people is not hinduism, killing the poeple in the name of cow is not hindusim, forcing to chant is not hinduism, this is all about HINDUTVA & hindutva is not hinduism.
