`WE WILL NOT COMPROMISE'(GUPKAAR ALLAINCE)

After abbrogation of Article 370 & 35 A Prime Minister called out jammu kashmir leaders for dialogue. the move to abrogate Art.370 was accompanied by a suspension of phone and internet services in Kashmir while leaders of several political parties, including the likes of National Conference (NC) leaders Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Mehbooba Mufti were put under house arrest.

Nearly it has been 2 years of removing article 370, the situation is not in control. terror infiltration still occurs in the state. the leaders are still in jail. in the view of getting the situation in control PM has invited all the leaders of jammu & kashmir for a dialogue. gupkaar allaince headed by mr farooq abdullah has decided to attend the meeting called by PM. but there agenda still remains same `no compromise on artcle 370 & 35A '.

"Mehbooba-ji, Md Tarigami sahib and I will attend the all-party meeting called by PM. We hope to keep our agenda before PM and HM (Home Minister)," says Dr Abdullah told reporters after today's meeting, adding that they will put forth their demands of the restoration of Jammu and Kashmir's special status and statehood.

Statehood (for Jammu and Kashmir) is the Prime Minister's own commitment. They won't be doing us a favour by giving us statehood back. Gupkar Alliance has been formed for the restoration of what was taken away from us on August 5, 2019," Ms Mufti told media.

"There can be no compromise on Article 370 and 35A," alliance member Muzaffar Shah said.
