POLITICAL CAREER:

He started his political career by winning as councillor from bjp and was MUNICIPAL CHAIRMAN. then he won as TRS  MLA later joined in congress. he again won as MLA with the congress ticket and won in 2009. but he lost in 2014 general elections. he left the party and joined BJP to contest for MP  from medak. he lost the elections & left bjp. he again joined congress in 2015. he contested 2018 assembly elections and won. he is also in race for TPCC president post which is vacant after uttam kumar reddy resigned after party loss in 2018 elections. 

ALLEGATIONS:

In september 2018 he was detained in the harges of impersonation, forgery, cheating and human trafficking on allegations that reddy allegedly trafficked 3 persons in 2004 from hyderabad to united states using ports named by his wife, daughter & his son.
