Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar rao popularly known as KCR! Was the man of telangana movement. He started his career by joining youth congress. Later he joined TDP under the leadership of NTR former chief minister Andhra Pradesh. He won three times as mla from Siddipet with the ticket of TDP.
Later he resigned from the party in 2001 for starting movement for separate Telangana state. He formed his party telangana rashtra samiti (TRS). He contested as Siddipet mla and as well as Karimnagar mp & later he went for coolition with congress and was awarded labour minister. He resigned from post and won again with 200000 majority.
He won as mp from mehboob nagar and won.his aggitation made the telangana state dream true. He started fast until death for getting telangana. The fast ended after congress government accepted his proposal!
In 2014 June 2 telangana state was declared a full & independent State!
