THE CASTE DISCRIMINATION!(TELUGU STATE)
The caste discrimination is a concerning issue in india from decade`s. in a democratic country the caste doesn`t matter. here everyone should get equal rights. but caste discrimination is a harsh reality in india. here people are devided according to caste, i.e UPPER CASTE & LOWER CASTE. the caste system is divided into five categories,1 Brahmins, 2 Kshatriyas , 3 Vashyas .4 Shudras & last untouchables (dalits).
1.Preists etc comes under brahmins
2.Rulers, warriors etc comes under Kshatriyas.
3. farmers, tradesmen etc comes under vashiyas.
4. manual labourers comes under shudras.
5.street cleaners, sweepers comes under dalits.
in two telugu states Telangana & Andhra pradesh caste discrimination exists. these are divided into two that are forward class and backward class.(OBC). Brahmins, kama kapu, komati etc comes under forward class .forward class is divided into nine categories.
other backward class includes:
- gnikulakshatriya
- Palli
- Vadabalija
- Bestha
- Jalari
- Gangavar
- Gangaputra
- Goondla
- Vanyakulakshtriya
- Vannekapu
- Vannereddi
- Pallikapu
- Pallireddi
- Nayyala
- Pattapu
- Balasanthu, Bahurupi
- Bandara
- Budabukkala
- Rajaka, Chakali, Vannar
- Dasari (formerly engaged in Bhikshatana)
- Dommara
- Golla (Yadava)
- Goud etc.
In telugu states the ST & SC caste population is also high.
Andhra pradesh & Telangana has 16.1 % population of ST & SC`s. but in etelugu states the reservation facilities are good for tribes. the reservation for st, sc & OBC is at 50 %. Tribes should not eat with the brahmins, manual scavengers are of ST & SC caste, this is a harsh reality from from telugu states.
As india is a biggest democracy in the world, it should have concern over the increase of caste discrimination. in india in every 15 minutes a Dalit girls gets raped.
'ARTICLE 15` clearly states that:
